Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe is an incredible country to visit for lovers of nature, as well as for those who appreciate rich cultural heritage. It is home to four World Heritage Sites – Mana Pools National Parks, the Great Zimbabwe Ruins, the Kama Ruins and the Victoria Falls (which has also been classified as of the seven natural Wonders of the World).
Lake Kariba in the north of Zimbabwe is one of the largest man-made lakes in the world, and offers game viewing, exciting fishing and beautiful scenery.
It is also an exciting destination for adventure-lovers, offering white water rafting and bungee jumping for the more daring adventurers, and canoeing and guided walking tours for the more cautious. If you prefer a more sedate approach to your holiday sightseeing, there are plenty of sunset cruises and guided tours on offer.
The Eastern Highlands of Zimbabwe offer a very different scenic experience, with lush, cool mountains and misty valleys. Some places you can visit here include the Chimanimani mountains, Nyanga National Park and the beautiful Vumba Botanical Gardens.

Botswana

THE OKAVANGO DELTA
If you are keen to have an extended trip to the Southern African region, the Okavango Delta in northern Botswana is a must-see! This vast inland river delta is known for its wide grassy plains, which form a fertile animal habitat due to the seasonal flooding. You can take a tour of the delta on dugout canoes, and even camp on one of the islands for a truly authentic experience under the African night skies. Toward the east of the delta the Moremi Game Reserve offers sightings of hippos, elephants, crocodiles, lions, leopards and giraffes.

Botswana

CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
The beautiful Chobe National Park in Botswana is well known for its high biodiversity, with extensive river-frontage, floodplains, grassland and dense woodland terrain. It is one of the most game-rich wildlife parks in the country. The Puku antelope may be seen on the floodplains. Birdlife is prolific, especially along the riverfront, including spoonbills, ibis and many types of ducks and waterfowl. Migrant bee-eaters are seen in summer. Chobe National Park is geographically beautiful and makes for a lovely day trip along the river and back inland through the forest and grassland.
